I am working with Ithra, a big cultural centre in Saudi Arabia. They invited me to do a project called Story of You. This project helps people feel more themselves when meeting new people by using conversations and body language.
We are often told not to talk to strangers as kids, but sometimes that makes us scared or shy as adults. This project helps challenge that. Today is the first day, and I will run an interactive experience with a local Saudi photographer. We will take portraits of people before and after talking to them to see the difference.
These pictures will be shown in the plaza area. I am excited and nervous about the project, but I trust Ithra and their team. I will chat, take photos, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. Today is a test day to see what works, and we will do it again tomorrow. I am very excited about this first 2024 project!
